Job Responsibility

  • Conceptual knowledge and draughting of P&ID (with broad knowledge of various Instruments like Temperature Transmitter, Manometer, Draught Gauge, Pressure Transmitter/ Gauge, and familiarity with the symbols used in P&ID, for various components)
  • Familiarity with Foundation – load data & drawings
  • Understanding of Equipment/ System layout and Auto Cad visualization
  • Hands on with Auto-Cad -2D
  • Calculations for selection of pumps (including piping-size & valves), Fans (draught & pressure) and ducting
  • Knowledge about various Design & Engg. Standards, Materials of Construction (MOC) and welding symbols
  • General awareness of equipment & system, used for industrial air pollution control (APC)
