Responsibilities:                                                                                               

  • Assist in identification of potential villages with good number of bean gatherers in and around cluster area by conducting Surveys in designated districts.
  • Conducting farmers mobilization camps in bean potential areas along with lady influencers.
  • Ensure increased trend in bean collection through awareness amongst lady influencers and villagers.
  • Meeting with bean gatherers and VCP agents regularly in their locations and ensure high quality information flows between Village level to TerViva.
  • Regular visit to the VCP locations for updating about bean collection quantity to Procurement Lead.
  • Assisting in measuring and verifying the physical stocks of bean in every VCP locations on regular basis.
  • Coordination with VCP agents for maintaining quality parameters of beans before purchase.
  • Monitor harvesting samples collected from bean gatherers/ suppliers/ processors against standards, report back on issues and monitor responses.
  • Arranging different capacities of trucks as and when required for transferring beans from VCP godowns to local godown of TerViva.
  • Arranging labours for handling of beans at VCP level and local godown level.
  • Assisting Procurement Leads in noting down the batch identification codes on each and every gunny bags after purchase from VCPs.
  • Work in collaboration with Social Impact Manager to deliver suitable strategy.
